Wednesday 4th November – Hocus Pocus Party.

Last night Abbeywood held a hocus pocus party to celebrate Halloween; there were lots of activities going on, Terror Tombola, Bobbing Apples and a Lucky Dip.   The residents had each decorated a witch’s hat to wear and they were judged by the staff, a few of the residents families came and dressed up in Halloween outfits as well as the staff. The kitchen staff cooked hotdogs, black peas and refreshments for the residents and families.  After asking a few residents what they thought of the night, they said it was very enjoyable and fun.  They loved everyone’s Halloween costumes, the music was good, and they also said that the food and drink was very tasty and that they would like to do it again next year! We raised £206 from all the different activities, ticket sales and the raffle which Abbeywood will donate to the resident’s funds.
